Pharmacy assistant

A pharmacy assistant in our practice dispenses medications, advises patients on their use, and monitors medication inventory. She also arranges medication dispensing, processes prescriptions, answers patient questions, and handles administrative tasks. She works closely with the general practitioner and other healthcare providers and ensures efficient and careful operations within the pharmacy.

• Medication provision and advice:

She dispenses medicines to patients and explains their effects, dosage and possible side effects.

• Recipe processing:

Taking, checking and processing prescriptions.

• Inventory management:

Checking medication stocks and ordering supplies.

• Patient contact:

Answering patient questions about medication use and other pharmacy-related matters.

• Administrative tasks:

Carrying out various administrative tasks within the pharmacy
